The car has more sensors on it than anything else. It's not just an AWD car but instead it transfers all the drive to the rear wheels once it starts going (they put this feature in the G35 sedan and called it intelligent AWD). When it goes around turns, there are sensors which check body roll and other things and then switches back to AWD. Only thing is that the RB26DETT was never rated as a higher output motor than the VQ35DETT which was Japan's best engine in the 90s.
